Breeding Programme
Breeding
of indigenous as well as exotic pheasants is being carried out since last
two years.
Research and continuous efforts have resulted hatching of
22 chicks of Red Jungle Fowl, Kalij, Lineated Kalij and Silver golden
Pheasants successfully.
Hatching is done during breeding season of these pheasants
using incubators and hatchers by controlling adverse climatic conditions.
