Martis flavigula

Yellow Throated Himalayan Martins are found in the Himalayan forest limits and are not found above the tree line.

They live in forest belt between 4000 ft. (1220m.) and 9000 ft. (2745m.).

The dorsal fur is usually variegated with deep brown black and yellow and the yellow of the throat is emphasized by dark band running down to the nape.

They hunt both by day and by night.

These are omnivorus animals. They hunt rats, hares, pheasant and partridges. Fruits and honey from flowers are also included in their diet.
