Macaca fuscata

These monkey are found in Japan. They live in groups near the population. It's hairs are much dense, long and tail is very short.

They feed on fruits, roots, bulbs and leaves.

It can tolerate extreme cold than other monkeys.

The female delivers a single young during June -July after the gestation period of 94 days.

It is found that it's maximum span of life is 19½ years in captivity.
