Man Eater of Kyari
One man eater tigress was captured from Belparao Range of Tarai West Forest Division on 25 April 2004 and brought to Nainital Zoo on 26th April 2004.

There were two deep and round shaped wounds on its head and neck and left canine was broken. It's left fore limb was also wounded and it was in state of coma when brought to the Nainital Zoo.

The Zoo veterinarian provided necessary treatment and after two month's continuous treatment, the injured tigress recovered back and finally transferred to Delhi Zoo on 13th March, 2005.
