Rescue Operation & Rehabilitation>>

Nainital Zoo has accepted the great challenge of rescuing and rehabilitating the injured, orphaned or illegally trapped wild animals.

The rescued animals brought to Nainital Zoo are treated till they become completely normal and healthy.

After the recovery, the normally acclimatized animals are released back in its natural habitat.

If an animal is not capable of leading a healthy life, it is nurtured in the zoo till it dies.

Since the creation of the Nainital Zoo, more than 80 wild animals and pheasants have been rescued.
