Capricornis sunatraensis

With this large head, donkey like ears, shorts limb, loving weight up to 90 kg. and a goat antilope family the Serow is found at an elevation 1800 to 3000 m. of those thick forest where there are plenty of caves and over hanging rocks available for its shelters.

In bad weather when alarmed it dashes down hill with a screawning whistle repeated at short interval.

The Serow is facing extincting due to rapaid loss of habitat and biotic pressure.
